1.You need to enable syslogd by adding the following to /etc/syslogd.conf
daemon.debug /var/log/ftplog.log
2. Modify inetd.conf
ftp ... -d -l -u 022
3. refresh syslog
# refresh -s sylslogd
4. refresh inetd
# refresh -s inetd
